Gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — not a source of financial stress or personal harm. At net303, we take our duty of care seriously and provide every Malaysian member with the tools, information, and support they need to stay in control.
Mandatory KYC enforcement on every account
Daily, weekly, and monthly caps set by you
Cool-off periods from 24 hours to permanent
Live chat always available for player welfare
The vast majority of net303's 500,000+ members across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, from Johor Bahru to Petaling Jaya — play within their means, set limits, and treat online gaming for exactly what it is: a form of entertainment. We want every one of our players to stay in that category.
However, we also know that for a minority of players, gambling can shift from recreation to a compulsive behaviour that causes real harm. Problem gambling is a recognised condition that can affect anyone, regardless of income, profession, or background. It tends to develop gradually, and players often don't recognise the warning signs until the impact on their finances, relationships, and mental health is already significant.
net303's responsible gambling framework is built on three pillars: prevention through self-management tools that players can activate themselves; detection through our internal monitoring systems that flag unusual behavioural patterns; and intervention by connecting at-risk players with professional support resources before problems escalate. None of these are passive features buried in account settings — they are front-and-centre commitments backed by real operational processes.
Important: Gambling with borrowed money, chasing losses, or gambling while under financial or emotional stress are serious warning signs. If any of these apply to you, please use our self-exclusion tool or contact our support team immediately.
Ask yourself these questions honestly. If you answer "yes" to two or more, consider using our responsible gambling tools below.
Do you spend more time or money gambling than you originally planned?
Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found it difficult?
Do you find yourself gambling to recover money you've already lost ("chasing losses")?
Has gambling caused arguments, stress, or financial strain in your household?
Have you borrowed money, sold assets, or used bill money to fund your gambling?
Do you feel anxious, restless, or irritable when you try to reduce or stop gambling?
Do you hide your gambling activity from family members, friends, or your employer?
Every tool listed below is built directly into your member Account dashboard. You do not need to contact support to activate them — though our team is always available if you need guidance.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit per day, per week, or per month in MYR. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit has a 7-day cooling-off period built in — this is intentional.
Define the maximum amount you're willing to lose over a defined period — daily, weekly, or monthly. When your loss limit is reached, your account is automatically restricted from further wagering until the period resets. This tool is particularly effective for players who find it hard to stop once they're on a losing streak.
Set a maximum session duration — from 30 minutes to 8 hours. When your session time expires, you are automatically logged out. An on-screen reminder is shown 10 minutes before your session limit is reached so you can save any open games. Session limits reset every 24 hours.
Take a planned break from gambling by activating a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, or 6 weeks. During this period, your Account is suspended for all gambling activity. The period cannot be shortened once activated, but can be extended at any time.
If you feel you need a longer or permanent break, self-exclusion allows you to close your Account for a minimum period of 6 months, up to 5 years or permanently. Once activated, this cannot be reversed for the minimum period. Any remaining Real Money Balance will be returned to your verified payment method. This is the most powerful tool we offer.
Enable on-screen pop-up reminders at intervals you choose (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes). Each reminder shows you your current session duration, your net win/loss for the session, and the time of day — keeping you grounded in the reality of your gaming session rather than losing track of time.
Log in to your net303 account → Click your profile icon (top right) → Select "Responsible Gambling" → Choose the tool you want to activate. Changes to limits that increase your exposure (e.g., raising deposit limits) are subject to a mandatory 7-day waiting period. All limit reductions and exclusions take effect immediately. If you need assistance accessing these tools, our live chat team is available from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM MYT daily.
Problem gambling rarely arrives all at once. It typically develops gradually through a pattern of escalating behaviour. Recognising the warning signs early gives you the best chance of regaining control before lasting harm occurs. The following are commonly recognised indicators:
Spending beyond your means. Gambling with money that was set aside for rent, utilities, groceries, or other essential expenses in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or wherever you live.
Chasing losses. Placing larger bets or longer sessions specifically to win back money you've already lost — one of the most common and dangerous patterns in problem gambling.
Preoccupation with gambling. Thinking about gambling constantly — planning the next session, replaying past losses, or calculating how to fund the next bet — even when you're at work or with family.
Secrecy and hiding behaviour. Lying to family members, friends, or employers about how much time or money you spend on gambling.
Borrowing to gamble. Taking personal loans, borrowing from family, or using credit cards to fund gambling sessions — especially when you are already in debt.
Emotional dependency. Using gambling as a way to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, or difficult personal circumstances rather than as entertainment.
Failed attempts to stop. Having tried to cut down or stop gambling on multiple occasions but finding yourself returning, often with increased stakes.
Withdrawal-like symptoms. Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling or when attempting to cut back — signs that gambling may have become a compulsive behaviour.
net303 maintains a strict minimum age requirement of 21 years for all registered members. This is not a formality — we enforce it through a mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification process that every member must complete before their first withdrawal is processed.
Research consistently shows that younger individuals are significantly more vulnerable to developing gambling-related problems, as the decision-making centres of the human brain are not fully developed until the mid-twenties. Our 21+ threshold reflects this reality and aligns with the responsible gambling standards promoted by international gaming regulators.
If you share a device or household with a minor, we strongly recommend the following steps:
